by Renee Roman Nose - Wednesday, 24 February 2010, 11:03 AM

Northwest Indian College's own Space Center, a student organization formed to, "demonstrate practical uses for some of the electronics that other students built in NWIC's robotics and electronics class," is seeking sponsorship to help seven people travel to the First Nations Rocket Launch (www.uwgb.edu/wsgc/fnl) which will be hosted by the College of the Menominee Nation in Wisconsin, May 1-2. The group need to raise $5,000 in order to cover travel costs, equipment, supplies, and living expenses for the duration of the Space Camp.

If you are interested in sponsoring, there are several wonderful things that you can receive in return for your investment in our Space Center students. For more information about sponsoring and what your sponsorship will give you, please contact Gary Brandt at 360-676-2772, or gbrandt@nwic.edu.
